Robb left at 6am this morning to go to Fujardo, about an hour and half east, for his scuba diving trip. He got there, went out in the boat, and due to rough water and low visibility, they weren't able to go. They gave them the option to go down 25 feet but they probably wouldn't see anything and since he's certified to go down 70 feet, he thought it wasn't worth the cha-ching. So he just came home. Bummer! He's going to try and fit it in some other time during the week.
We experienced some serious Puerto Rican downpours today. We went to the beach twice and were rained out both times. We did get to see some sweet kite surfing again though and I'm dyin' I want to do it so bad. I got some sweet video.
This evening, we went out to Santa Maria where Robb and his family used to live when his dad was mission president back in 1989-1992. It was so fun to watch them walk through the mission home and reminisce and laugh and talk about old times. They are totally renovating it right now and it's a little different (a lot different) than what they remember but they had a good time. Then we headed over to Baldwin School where Robb and his little sister and brother went to schoolwhile in Puerto Rico. It has also been revamped and is a pretty nice private school now. We saw Robb's junky old outdoor court that he used to play ball on and 3 of his friends from high school who still live in PR met him there to play basketball in the new gym with his brothers. You could tell Robb LOVED this day and was totally in his element back at his old stomping grounds.
Tomorrow is the big snorkeling trip so hopefully the water isn't so rough (fingers crossed)...
