Well, the 2nd half of my Christmas Eve ended great. Avery was still pretty sick and feverish but we still went to Robb's brother's house and had a yummy Chinese dinner and evening with family. We laughed a lot, played with their new puppy, had some cheesecake, watched Joy to the World and read our favorite Christmas story. We stopped at a house in Broomfield that was amazingly decorated, and then headed home. After opening our jammies, the boys were off to bed and were asleep almost instantly.
We didn't hear a peep till 8am. Yep, Bryce's little feet had snuck downstairs to check out the Santa stuff before any of us were awake. He came in so excited that Santa had brought wii games! We told him he wasn't supposed to go down there alone! He went and woke up Zack and Avery and we went downstairs. They were floored with all the wii games and a couple minutes later Zack said, "I wish Santa would have gotten us a wii." We were dying. Robb said, "Have you checked in the TV stand?" (We really thought they knew a wii was part of the package.) They saw the actual wii and about hyperventilated. We then asked them, "Why would we just get you the games and not the wii?" They both said, "We thought they were just games we could take to our friends' houses." It was so funny. So needless to say, they were thrilled they get to join the wii ranks.
There were also car tracks (huge ENORMOUS hit), motorcycles, legos, crocs, books, personalized handmade pens from grandpa (Zack LOVED it dad) my little ponies, purses, princess stuff, little people, etc. They were well taken care of. Robb got some scuba gear including camera and waterproof case and I got wii Active which went perfect with my cool new heart rate monitor from my sis, both Glee CD's (which we are blasting currently), and an electric frying pan (I know...but I really wanted one). Gift cards and much more I'm forgetting. Poor miss Avery just didn't feel good though. Total fever and irritable. She'd be excited about a toy and then just cry. I think she has snot on her face in every picture.
It's now 4:30, Bryce is STILL playing with his remote control car, Robb is knocked out on the couch, Avery is crawling around with her tea party set, Zack's watching Christmas Vacation (good taste), and I just showered finally (the only person who has actually). Getting ready for chicken noodle soup in our bread bowls and maybe a little more guitar hero tonite. Gotta love it. We'll see how much wii we can fit in before our trip on Friday. We are getting psyched for some warm weather! Merry Christmas everyone.

So sad that Avery wasn't feeling well! She still looks cute in those sweet pajamas! Looks like you had a great Christmas still with lots of new toys to try out!
