St. Louis Day 4

We woke up to POURING rain this morning but at about 10am it subsided and out came the blue sky and blistering heat. We decided it would be a good day to go to Grant's Farm. It was farmed originally by Ulysses S. Grant back in the 1800's and then by the Busch family (of Anheuser Busch) and opened for the public in the 1950's. You ride a tram around all 180+ acres and see all kinds of animals they've brought in from 6 continents. Then you get off and can feed the goats, ride the carousel, see the animal shows, have snow cones, etc. It was a pretty fun place and then when you head back to the parking lot you can stop by the clydesdales stables and see the big horses and learn how they raise them. The kids had a great time.

Best pic I could get of Avery on her first carousel ride.

Then we just came back to the house, let the babies nap, and went and hit the pool again after dinner. Another nice full day. Robb got here at about 11pm just in time to see the Lakers beat the Celtics (GAG!). We're glad he's here and look forward to the rest of the week with him.
