This picture turned out kind of funky with the exposure setting I had it on...but no need to call child protective services, the picture is a little deceiving and Avery is safe and sound with no 2nd degree burns. :)

Call the Fire Marshall...
...we found a spare pack of sparklers tonite and let the kids light them up. I know, it's not the 4th or New Years so we're a little illegal but what can I say, we live on the edge. We didn't do sparklers on the 4th so this was a first for Avery. She totally was enthralled and kept reaching for the end of it.
