The 4th

OK, so it has been quite a while since I have taken pictures like a crazy woman but I could just not stop snappin' them on the 4th! We headed to Utah and it was a big weekend not only because of the 4th but it was my Bryce's 7th birthday and we also welcomed Robb's parents home from working in the Dominican Republic for 3.5 years and serving as interim mission presidents in St. Louis for 6 months and they are now RETIRING! They have worked hard and deserve it. Robb's brother Dan also blessed their new baby boy Kaden (I have no pictures from that day for some reason). So there was a lot of family and a lot of fun.

The following series of pics just cracked me up so I had to include them all. We were trying to get a pic of the three little girls. Maddie (left) is 2, Sienna (right) is almost 2, and Avery is 18 months so wouldn't it be cute to get a picture of all three of them? Well, Avery was spoiling the whole thing. I just was cracking up at her attitude and refusal to smile while the other 2 were so pleasant.

LOL...then we let Avery sit all by herself in the chair and she totally turned on the charm...the little turd!

I loved this shot of her playing with one of Kay and Cheryl's welcome home balloons.

Even though the 4th is always a big celebration, we always try to make it an extra special day for Bryce since it's his birthday. Isn't he just adorable? He wanted a mohawk all week long and for his birthday and the fireworks so we let him have it.

I can't believe the little dude is 7!!

As the sun went down, we went up to the golf course to let the kids play at the carnival. The sunset was AMAZING.

Kay and Cheryl live on the 18th hole of a beautiful golf course which is where they shoot the fireworks off for the city of North Salt Lake. So we have the best view available! The babies and adults were on the deck and the older kids were down on blankets in the grass. I'm not sure what this face is by Avery but it was cute. She loved the fireworks, happy and content the whole time.

I went down to snag a couple of pics of the older kids. Here is classic Zack (fireworks are always TOO loud), Sydney, and Tayler.

Kylee and Bryce staying toasty under the blankets.

After the fireworks we headed in for birthday cake for Bryce. He requested the same cake again this year. It was an awesome weekend!
