The Rockies and a Birthday

It's officially baseball season again...woo hoo! This year Robb had a chance to buy into some season tickets for the Rockies at work. We only get a handful of games but they are SWEET seats. It's 17th row right behind home plate so we get to see all the players pretty much up close and personal. Robb and I had a chance to go last Wednesday night. It was a perfect night, in the high 50's and just a little breezy which is pretty good for April. We love taking our kids to the game but it's also fun to go just the 2 of us where we can actually pay attention...ha ha.

The game was a pretty good game as far as games go. Definitely not boring, a little bit frustrating at times and hopefully the Rox can get those bats moving quite a bit better here soon. It went into extra innings and then Ianetta had a walk off homer to end the game which was SWEET!

We have tickets again for next Saturday so fingers crossed it doesn't rain. We're gonna buy 2 more regular tickets and bring the boys...should be fun!

Also, my handsome Robb (he's always that now after The Italian Job), just turned 35 on Friday! He is one who never wants me to buy him anything or make a cake or celebrate or anything. Well, too bad he married me! We didn't make a big deal, but we did get him some gifts that he opened before work and then they made a cake for him at work too. Friday night we went out for a relaxing dinner with our good friends and just ate and chatted the night away. It was quite delightful. Happy birthday baby...love you.
