DreamChaser
My awesome friend Shannon works for the Space Systems Division of the Sierra Nevada Corporation. She has a very cool job. Her company is bidding for the next line of spacecraft to be used by NASA. Well, the life-size prototype of the DreamChaser was delivered to the parking lot at her work yesterday because some VIP's are coming today. This spacecraft would be used to shuttle crew from earth to the International Space Station. It's not very big and only carries 7 people. So we took the kids over after school so they could get inside and see it. My kids were quite excited to see a real spaceship! This spacecraft costs 200 million to make and 40 million to launch. Yowza!

How cool is that! I would have loved to have seen it too! That is pretty amazing!
We saw this because it's right next door to Kaiya's gym. I had no idea this is where Shannon works. So cool! We loved looking into it!
