And just like that my Zack is 12. Unbelievable. His grandparents and his birthmom came in to town for his birthday and big weekend. It was a big day for him. He accompanied one of the pieces for the primary program, had to get up in front of the whole congregation to get his Faith in God award and recite an article of faith and was then ordained a deacon. I think by the time we took these pictures, he was exhausted in every way.
Poor kid, looks like he is gonna cry...lol but it was a great day. I swear sometimes his 12 years felt like 24 years. He is my hard-headed, stubborn fighter and, someday, that combined with the priesthood he received today is going to be his strongest weapon! So proud of him.
After some food and relaxation, it was time to say goodbye to Lacey. It sure was a great weekend and we are so glad she was able to come.
