Yep, he is ten. He will always be my little Bryce, but he is ten. Every year, we are out of town for the 4th of July and Bryce is always sad he doesn't get a friend party. Well, this year we made it happen. Robb was gone to scout camp with my big vehicle so I didn't have a way to shuttle him and his friends anywhere so he decided to have a Fear Factor party at our house. He invited a bunch of other 10 year old boys (I should have really thought about ear plugs) and we planned a bunch of fear factor games, destroyed a pinata, played some minecraft, and played with hot wheels. It was definitely a successful evening.
Bryce came up with his own idea for a cake and even made it! I mean, talk about making it easy on mom.
Bryce invited Jamison, Spencer, Jacob, Matthew, and Evan. Avery just benefited from all the fun by being his sister. This was one of the fear factor games. With no hands find the bubble gum underneath the whipped cream and blow a bubble.
He was definitely excited to get gifts from friends on top of gifts from family. He got lots of Legos and a new DS game along with other fun things.
