Wow...

...it's been a really long time since I've blogged. Here's a quick update...

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we went kind of last minute over to Salt Lake for my father-in-law's retirement shindig at the church office building. He has worked for the church for over 30 years as a mission president (twice), a Director of Temporal Affairs several times and in several countries, he ran the church printing press, materials management, and more. They had a reception for him. We sat up in the front while he gave his speech, met the Presiding Bishopric and other people he has worked with over the years, ate refreshments and after everyone left, we all just sat there and chatted and laughed for awhile. Later that night, we went to Market Street Grill for some yummy seafood. My sister was kind enough to keep my kids all day so we could enjoy the day with Robb's parents and siblings. Then we got stuck in Utah for an extra day because of snow...

Here's Robb with his parents and siblings after eating dinner at Market Street. It's always fun to hang with them and hear them rehash old stories from their international adventures. Pure entertainment...

Thanksgiving was here. Robb's whole family came and split up between our house and Robb's brother's house in Broomfield. We ate a ton (I think Cheryl made 12 pies), did a little shopping, hit Harry Potter 7 and Tangled, got family pictures, watched A LOT of football, and pretty much had a great time. Here's some pics.

Jen, Andrea, and Cheryl testing the yams. We decided that the more butter and brown sugar you add to them, the better!

Shannon came over for Thanksgiving dinner with us. We were being silly and trying to avoid double chin pics so Amberlee took the pic from above our heads but hey, it worked!

Most the time, the guys were down in the man cave watching football or other manly things on TV. I snagged this picture of Zack and Carson who decided to join the guys to watch Rocky (not sure which one...they did a marathon on Versus).

These kids played so cute! Bryce, Will, Kylee, and Olyvia.

Cutest picture of the weekend. Found these cuties lovin' on each other. How long is that hair?!?

HP7 with the Zack Attack. Gotta say, the snake part about made me pee my jeans. Good flick though.
